Eric Eustace Williams was the first prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago. He was born on September 25 1911. Eric Williams is famous for his political speech "My Relation with the Caribbean Commission". Eric Williams was the founder and leader of the People's National Movement (PNM) in 1956 and he lead Trinidad and Tobago to independence in 1962. He is known as the Father of the Nation.
