The ODPM is the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management, which is a division of the Ministry of National Security.
They put measures in place to prepare for, respond to and recover from all hazards that threaten Trinidad & Tobago; such as floods, hurricanes, earthquakes etc.
ODPM usually issues public warnings and advisories about upcoming threats.

The ODPM also advises the public of things like upcoming planned power outages, imminent unusual weather or anything that is anticipated and should be planned for; thus the name - Office of Disaster PREPAREDNESS and Management.
