Fitzgerald Hinds is an attorney by profession but started his political career in 1995. Since then he has held many positions like Opposition Senator, Government member, minister of state and has held the Member of Parliament position for Laventille East/Morvant for the past 12 years. He is now the Minster of Public Utilities under the current administration.
