What poisonous snakes can be found in Trinidad and Tobago?

A poisonous animal and a venomous animal differ in terms of how the poison or venom is delivered. Venom is delivered to the victim via a specialised delivery system, example, through a bite. Poison however, is present throughout the animal's body or in certain areas.
Venomous snakes in Trinidad:
1. Mapapire Balsain
2. Mapapire Z'anana (Bushmaster)
3. Large Coral
4. Small Coral
There are no venomous snakes to be found in Tobago.
