The PNM has held government for the past year and has made some great achievements so far. Listed below are just some of their achievements:
- VAT reduction to 12.5 %
- Personal Allowance increased to $72,000
- Smaller cabinet from 33 to 23 members
- Local government reform (Policy document)
- Completion of Aquatic Centre
- Completion of Tennis Centre
- Rationalise fiscal Expenditure
- Removal of fees for persons over 60 years old for Drivers Permit and passports
- Paid Caroni workers outstanding money.
