Dr. Keith Christopher Rowley, Trinidad and Tobago's current Prime Minister, is a Volcanologist and his political career started in 1981 with the People's National Movement. His qualifications are:
- BSc Geology, Geography (First Class Hons)
- MSc Volcanic Stratigraphy
- Doctorate Geology specialising in Geochemistry.
